About

When I was 10 years old my mother published her first book, I’ll never forget how excited she was but the best part for me? I could brag that My Mommy was an author. That was when I fell in love with reading, as the next few years went by, the more books she published, and I started helping her. I’d read the second or third draft for misspellings, punctuation, etc.; a few weeks later I’d reread and compare several copies, checking each one. To this day I continue to looking for mistakes.

The very first book I read for me was Bunnicula by James Howe (1987), I fell in love with that crazy little bunny and talked my parents into getting me one, only to find out that not all bunnies were vampires. Then The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening by L.J. Smith (1991) came out and I was a goner, I read every vampire story I could get my hands on.

During the summer of 1992 tragedy struck my family and we lost my only brother, A1C Donald William Myers, in a motorcycle accident in Germany, I dove into reading. It was during this time I realized I could escape into a different world, find new adventures, meet new people and travel to the far reaches of…everything. I had One Thousand and One Nights in the Arabian dessert, fought in the Trojan Wars in Iliad by Homer, danced with Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, became a Dark-Hunter in Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon, been treated at a demon hospital in Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione, and I’ve fallen in love with an (sort-of-)angel (and a fallen angel) in Embrace by Jessica Shirvington. I realized that my world was just one story and I wanted (no needed) to discover so much more.

I know this page is supposed to be about me, in a way I suppose it is, but I simply cannot tell what or who I am, my story isn’t finished yet. I have been to the castles of Ireland to Stonehenge to the Great Wall of China. I’ve seen distant galaxies and alien planets. I’ve traveled to the future, relived the past and survived too many apocalypses. I’ve been a vampire, werewolf, succubus, pixie, witch, the Grim Reaper, angels, demons, Gods and Goddesses, and so much more. All while sitting in my library. There are so many…
